Golf Tournament To Raise Money For Service Dog For Boy

A golf tournament will be held this Saturday to raise money for a service dog for a Carthage Middle School student.

It's organized by a group called 4 Paws for Parker, which is raising money for a dog for Parker Setliff, who has Asperger’s syndrome, ADHD, two different types of seizure disorders, and other medical issues.

Tournament volunteer Tom Wojcikowski was on 7 News at Noon to talk about it.

The tournament is Saturday at Cedars Golf Course in Lowville.

There's a shotgun start at 9 a.m.

It's a captain-and-crew format and the cost is $240 per team.

For information, call 315-221-1275, visit the group's Facebook page, or go to the 4 Paws For Ability website.
