Hospice Celebrates November

November is National Hospice Month and Hospice of Jefferson County is having several events to commemorate it.

Nicole Paratore, the organization's events and marketing coordinator, outlined the events on 7 News This Morning.

"Hugs for Hospice" lasts through November. People can buy a "hug" card from participating merchants. A list is available on the group's Facebook page.

An Evening of Giving will be November 17 at Salmon Run Mall. People can buy books of coupons to mall merchants and part of the money goes toward Hospice.

The Hospice Memory Tree will be lighted November 17 through December 23.

Ted Keegan's "Songs My Father Taught Me" concert will be November 22 and  23. Tickets are nearly sold out.
