Irish Festival Raises Funds For Scholarships

The North Country Goes Green Irish Festival isn't coming up until next month, but organizers want to get a jump on letting the public to know how important it is.

The event raises money for college scholarship for students in the tri-county region.

The festival and the Miss Ireland Pageant have awarded $100,000 worth of scholarship over the last seven years.
