Both children and pets can be at risk for obesity and chronic disease from not getting enough active play and eating the wrong snacks.

Dr. Stephanie Young, a Watertown veterinarian, appeared on 7 News at Noon on Friday to discuss ways kids and pets can be active together.

Dr. Young is also an intern with the nutrition program at Cornell Cooperative Extension of Jefferson County.
