Law Day Is May 1Law Day is commemorated on May 1 each year by members of the legal profession. Capt. Greer Ilingworth and Capt. Robert Murdough, members of the Judge Advocates General (JAG) Corps on Fort Drum say Law Day was established in 1958 by President Dwight Eisenhower to honor the nation's commitment to the rule of law.
