'Luggage With Love' Helps Foster Kids

Tools

The Jefferson Leadership Institute is helping out kids at the Children's Home of Jefferson County.

It's called Luggage With Love and is geared to give foster kids who travel from home to home something to put their belongings in besides a garbage bag.

The JLI's Jennifer Dindl-Neff was on 7 News This Morning Monday to explain the plan. Click on the picture to watch her interview.

The JLI will accept new or gently used luggage or backpacks until April 30.

Luggage can be dropped off at the Jefferson Community College human resources office, the Fairgrounds YMCA, Humes Realty, and Aubertine & Currier.

Call 315-773-5947 for more information, or visit the organization's Facebook page.
