The annual "Old Newsboys" sale of Watertown Times newspapers is this Friday.
Proceeds from the day of selling newspapers in and around Watertown go to the Salvation Army.
The sale starts at 8 a.m. and goes until the newsboys - people who delivered the paper when they were younger - are done.
Lt. Summer Hough from the Salvation Army in Watertown was our guest on 7 News This Morning Monday to talk about Old Newsboys Day, and the progress of the Army's Red Kettle campaign.
On a goal of $100,000, the Army has raised about $46,000, she said.
The Salvation Army fed 600 people on Thanksgiving.
For more information on Old Newsboys Day, you can contact Erica Bobbitt or Lt. Hough at 782-4470.
(The newspaper is also expanding Old Newsboys Day into Lowville this year. Find more information here.)
