Morning Checkup: Health Care Proxy

On this week's Morning Checkup, Kathy Hunter and Peg Dillabough of Samaritan Medical Center's patient and family services talk about the importance of having a health care proxy.

A proxy is someone authorized to make health care decisions when a patient is incapable of doing it for him- or herself.

Proxy forms and information are available on the state health department website.

For information, call the patient and family services office at 315-785-4150
