A lot of individuals' medical information is available online, which makes it convenient for medical professionals and patients alike.
But you need what's called a patient portal to access it.
Dr. Steven Lyndaker, medical director with the Fort Drum Regional Health Planning Organization, and nurse informaticist Liza Darou explain that a portal is a secure and private connection to your doctor's office.
The portal gives you internet access to your chart, medical history, lab results and other records.
If you're interested, talk to your doctor's office.
