The record is 1,700 participants - all throwing, dodging and ducking in a giant game of dodgeball.

The hope at Clarkson University this weekend? At least 1,800 people.

A group of Clarkson students is trying to set a new 'ultimate dodgeball' record, and raise money for charity along the way.

The details:

Dodging for Dreams:  The Ultimate Dodgeball Game, will be held on Saturday, November 13, at Hantz Field, Clarkson University.

Proceeds will benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation, $2 admission and begins at 3:30 PM.
