SPCA: How About A Greek Tortoise?

Tools

He's not the usual stray the Jefferson County SPCA takes in, but it does happen.

The SPCA's Gina Wirth brought a Greek tortoise with her to the 7 News studio.

He's a full-grown male that someone found walking down the street. He's been at the shelter two months and needs someone to adopt him.

Turtles and tortoises in general are easy to care for, Wirth says, but it's a good idea to wash your hands after touching one.

Wirth says the organization has nearly 4,000 Facebook fans.
