SPCA: Kittens Everywhere

"We have kittens everywhere," said Jefferson County SPCA director Doug Marlow.

Marlow brought two kittens from a litter of six to 7 News This Morning, just of small sample of what's available.
These two -- and their four siblings -- are 6 to 7 weeks old and were strays found on Fort Drum.
Marlow said the SPCA has kittens at both the main shelter on Water Street and at the annex at Petco on outer Arsenal Street.
Marlow said he wanted to give a shout-out to the  40 foster families SPCA relies on to care for pets until they're ready to adopt.
Marlow also had a reminder for pet owners -- with the Fourth of July coming up, it's best to keep pets inside during fireworks displays. Many are frightened of the noise.
