Samaritan Offers Yearly Lung Cancer ScreeningIf you're a long-time smoker -- or a long-time smoker who has since quit -- early lung cancer detection could save your life. Samaritan Medical Center radiation oncologist Dr. Dan DeBlasio and RN Bonnie Trudeau say the hospital is offering lung cancer screening for at-risk patients.
It's a yearly low-dose CT scan that should catch any cancer early enough so that it's easily treatable.
