Staying Safe In Dangerous Cold

It's downright dangerous when temperatures plunge well below zero and wind chills are even colder.

That's why officials are urging people to take steps to protect themselves in subzero weather.

Patricia Esford of Jefferson County Public Health Service appeared on 7 News at Noon on Thursday to offer tips.

She also talked about the symptoms of frostbite and when you should seek treatment.
