'We Remember' Effort To Help Nassau County Continues

Tools

An effort to help victims of Superstorm Sandy continues.

It's called "We Remember" and organizers say they want to repay the help Nassau County residents gave the north country during the 1998 ice storm.

Organizers say 600 Nassau County families are still living in motels months after the storm and about 1,400 homes are uninhabitable

To make a donation, make checks payable to the Northern New York Community Foundation and write "Nassau" on the memo line.
