'Youth Adventure Day' A Chance To Get Kids Outdoors

The Jeff-Lewis branch of the Quality Deer Management Association is offering an event designed to get kids off the couch and outdoors.

The association's Joe Martel was on 7 News This Morning to talk about the group's Youth Adventure Day.

It will be July 19 at Lucky Star Ranch on Old Town Springs Road in Chaumont.

Registration is at 8 a.m.

There will be skeet shooting for those 12 and older. Other children will have a chance to shoot archery, air rifles and crossbows.

The cost is $5 per person. Lunch is included.
