This week's honor goes to Taylor Nims, a standout lacrosse player at Watertown High School.

She scored five goals and three assists in a win over Oswego. 

She followed that up with a four-goal, six-assist performance in a win over Canton.

A talent for lacrosse runs in her family. 

Taylor's older brother, Kenny, is a star player on the Syracuse University lacrosse team.

Her late father, Tommy, was a goalkeeper for the SU team in the 1980s.

Taylor will join the girl's lacrosse team at SU this fall.

Taylor is this week's McDonald's Athlete of the Week.
