This week's honor goes to Matt Chaney, a standout cross country runner for Beaver River Central School.

He won the Frontier League title and went undefeated in league races this year.

He finished second in Section 3 and state competitions.

This weekend, Chaney is running in the Federation Meet in Wappinger Falls.

Matt is this week's McDonald's Athlete of the Week.
