Is a two percent drop statistically important enough to scare the uninformed public away from something they are already hesitant about? I would like to increase my chance of avoiding the flu by 48%, which is only 2% away from last year's average, wouldn't you? People with lung and heart diseases can hardly handle influenza, it's important for them to gain any protection available. Ever since this news article I have had to work even harder to inform my patients day after day about the benefits of vaccinations, thank you.
