Cooking School Benefits Mountainview Prevention

There will be Taste of Home cooking school in Lowville next month.

The event is part of a national touring show by the popular magazine of the same name.
 
It's a fundraiser for Mountainview Prevention Services, which focuses on alcohol and substance abuse prevention. The proceeds will be used for the organization's many youth programs.
 
Mountainview's Arlene Hall says it's two-and-a-half-hour demonstration featuring 10 different recipes.
 
It's Saturday, October 19 at the Lowville Academy auditorium
 
The doors open at 11 a.m.
 
Regular admission price is $15.
 
VIP tickets are available for $50.
