Help Available For Navigating Cancer Treatment

It can be confusing for cancer patients who are trying to navigate the health care process.

And Samaritan Medical Center (SMC) has a navigator who can help.

Bonnie Trudeau is an oncology nurse navigator for the hospital and she helps patients make sure they find the care they need.

There's also a way for the community to help the hospital.

SMC has entered a wideo in an online contest.

It's called the Pink Glove Dance Competition and it's in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month

The contest runs October 12 through October 26. Area residents can vote for the hospital's video as their favorite.

The hospital could win as much as $10,000.

Winners will be announced on November 2.
