Morning Checkup: SMC Plans Blood Drive

Samaritan Medical Center is planning a blood drive.

It will be from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. June 11 at SMC's fourth floor conference room.

Tony Marra, SMC's director of laboratory services, says blood drives are especially important during the summer, since many regular donors go on vacation and aren't available to give blood.

Walk-ins are welcome.
