Samaritan Doing Surgeries With Help Of Robotics

Samaritan Medical Center is now doing some surgeries with the help of robotics.

Urologist Dr. Alejandro Rodriguez appeared on 7 News at Noon Thursday to discuss the new equipment.

Dr. Rodriguez said the system gives the surgeon a 3-dimensional view, magnifies the site 15 times and takes away vibration of the hand.

He said the equipment helps to lessen patient blood loss, pain and recovery time.
