Y-Time: Exercise, With A Sense Of Humor

Story Updated: Mar 19, 2014

When Norm Honeyman was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease about two years ago, he decided he needed to know more about it.

So, he read "Parkinson's For Dummies" and learned that people with the disease need two things: exercise and a sense of humor.

For the exercise, he turned to the Ready To Be Fit program at the downtown YMCA, which allows him to work at his pace and at a level that works for him.

He says exercise has given him back the quality of life he enjoys.

As for the sense of humor, click on the picture to see for yourself.
