Your Health: A Reminder

Story Updated: Dec 30, 2011

Did you skip your flu shot this year?

The bad news: we are headed into the peak of flu season, late in January, February and March.

The good news: get your shot soon, and you start to develop resistance to the flu within two weeks.

By our math, that means if you do it now, you'll be in good shape when and if the flu gets serious.

The other good news: pharmacies and doctors across the north country have plenty of vaccine.

Adults can also get shots at the Lewis and St. Lawrence County public health services, though in Jefferson County, they are only innoculating youngsters.
