A candidate for a Watertown city council spot kicked off his campaign Saturday night.
Cody Horbacz held an event at Bistro 108 on Court Street. He is one of the four candidates running for two spots. Horbacz says he is running to give voters a new choice and to make city government more accessible to the public. He also says he's the voice for the younger generation.
"Younger voters, but also people who want to get back to the public being more involved in the in the conservation," said Horbacz.
Horbacz will face incumbents Jeff Smith and Teresa Macaluso and newcomer Jassmine Borreggine. The top two vote getters in November, will get a seat on the council.
