Jessica Phinney had been through the creaky halls of the Jefferson County Historical Museum many times, sure, but she never dreamed she would one day become director.
Phinney has been named the new executive director of the Jefferson County Historical Society. After a tour of the museum, from top to bottom, she says she's even more impressed.
Phinney says the challenge will be getting more grants and new members for the museum. Her previous employment experience includes a spot as a curator at the Antique Boat Museum and the executive director of the Ulster County Historical Society.
