Man Runs From Police and Jumps Off Bridge

MGN Online

A Natural Bridge man jumped off the Mill Street bridge early Saturday morning in what police say was an attempt to escape them.

Logan Moore, 20, of Natural Bridge, was being interviewed by police on Mill Street about a broken window around 4:30 am this morning.

City police had received a call from a neighbor about someone breaking a window at a Mill Street home. Officers pulled over a car matching a description and say Moore was a suspect because of a recent cut on his arm.

As they talked to Moore, police say he ran off and jumped off the Mill Street bridge by Napa Auto Parts and did not hit the water. He hit the rocks fifty feet below and survived with non-life-threatening injuries. He was rescued by Watertown City Fire Department and transported to Samaritan Medical Center. Moore has not received any tickets yet.

However, the four people in the car that the police pulled over were all charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance. Police tell us those individuals are Karen Tracy, 21, Larkin Harvey, 22, John Neddo, 39, and Jeremiah Markwick, 24. Officers say they had methamphetamine and cocaine in the vehicle.
