No arrests have been made after police uncovered a possible meth lab Saturday night in the city of Watertown.

City fire crews were called around 8:30 pm Saturday to a fire at the apartment building at 537 Olive Street. Firefighters say they found a trash can fire in a bedroom on the second floor and put it out.

But while at the house, authorities uncovered what they believed to be evidence of meth manufacturing. Watertown city police called in State Police and the Metro-Jefferson Drug Task Force to help in the investigation.

Sunday morning, men dressed in white full-body suits wearing gas masks examined and took items from the residence into a van.

Police released few details and say it is an ongoing investigation.
