It may only be mid-November, but in Lisbon, they're getting ready for the holidays with Lights on the River.
The holiday tradition began in 2010 and is about more than lights. There is no admission fee, but food donations are taken instead at the entrance. All are donated to 8 North Country food pantries. Over $32,000 has been donated to the food pantries in the last four years.
Organizers say this year the lights will shine from December 14 - 22 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Anyone who wants to be part of this year's holiday tradition can e-mail organizers at email@example.com
