Starbuck Offers Petition to End Shutdown
At Starbucks on Arsenal Street, they were rallying to end the government shutdown.
The company is asking people to sign it's "Come Together Petition." The petition urges politicians to re-open the government, avoid default and pass a bipartisan, long term budget deal. The petition is available at more than 7,000 stores nationwide. We talked to some customers who signed the petition.
"A lot of hard working people who depend on their paychecks. Who are funded by government that need to be working to support their families," said Kevin May.
Representatives from Starbucks say they plan to deliver the petition to Congress next week.
