THE STUDENTS OF THE GERMAN CLUB OF NORTHERN NEW YORK ARE HOSTING A SPAGHETTI DINNER
The students of The German Club of Northern New York have studied the German language and culture for since grammar school. As they finish their high-school years of language study, they have organized a European Excursion on June 29th-July 7th, 2010. The purpose of this trip is to enhance their knowledge of the German language and culture, as well as providing an international experience for the students.
As teenagers, they are working with a limited income, so they have held several fundraisers over the past six months to raise money for an emergency fund to take with them. The next fundraiser is the Spaghetti Dinner, November 7th, 4-7 PM, at the Evans Mills Fire Hall.
They have a website that is designed for anyone who would like to follow along as the group of students embarks on their journey to Europe in April 2008. Here you will find photographs, a daily log, and travel information for participants and family members of the club. They have also including links to other websites of interest and contact information for anyone who is interested in helping to sponsor their trip.
