The community is invited to enjoy a night of fundraising and pre‐holiday shopping at Salmon Run Mall for their 5th annual 'Evening of Giving' event on Sunday, November 15 from 5pm‐8pm.

The mall is open to the public extended hours for this event, however; only patrons possessing an Evening of Giving pass will be eligible for in store discounts, coupons, samplings, giveaways, mall wide door prizes and a chance at the Grand Prize valued at $1,000. Plus, pass holders are invited to catch a special viewing the holiday classic "Elf" starring Will Ferrell after the event at 9pm for free, compliments of Regal Cinemas.

The event made its debut in 2004 and has raised more money each consecutive year. Last year approximately 1,500 people
attended the event and raised more than $10,000 for over 15 organizations.

"Evening of Giving a great way for people to have fun, support a great causes and save money all at the same time," said Mary Jane
Mathewson, family center projects manager for the Community Action Planning Council, one of the groups benefiting from the
event.

Evening of Giving passes can be obtained for a $5 donation and can be purchased now through the night of the event from any
participating non‐profit organization or at Salmon Run Mall Customer Service. Passes can also be purchased at the door the evening of the event.

All Evening of Giving pass proceeds benefit local non‐profit groups throughout the Jefferson County area including
Alzheimer's Association, American Cancer Society/Relay for Life, American Heart Walk, Big Brothers Big Sisters of NNY, Community
Action Planning Council, Family Counseling Service of NNY, Kiwanis Club of Watertown, Literacy of NNY, Northern New York All‐
Starz, St. Joseph's Foundation, United Helpers Management Company, USO Fort Drum and Watertown Cyclones Jr. Midget
Cheerleaders.

Over 50 of the mall's stores are participating by offering discounts ranging from percentage off or dollars off the total purchase, to
free gifts with purchase. Participating stores include Gander Mountain, Bon Ton, Best Buy, Dick's Sporting Goods, Aeropostale,
Gap/Gap Kids, Hot Topic, Spencer's Gifts, Aerie and more.
