Join San Francisco-based speaker and military veteran Tia Christopher as she tours the United States, educating civilians and military personnel alike on the issues faced by women in the military.

Topics that will be covered:

  •    History of women in the military.
  •    Current issues facing women veterans and women in the military.
  •    Current research and pending legislation regarding women associated with the military.
  •    Women veterans and military in the media.
  •    Women veterans' stories and art.

Event Sponsors: Dr. Kennedy, Veterans Association, CATS, VP for Student Affairs, and School of Business and Liberal Arts.
The event is to be conducted on the Suny Canton Campus on Thursday, November19th,2009, at 7:00pm in th Kingston theater.

The speaker will be addressing critical issues facing the north country military families.
