AWOL Soldier Returned To Fort Drum

A 21 year old 10th Mountain Division soldier wanted on a federal desertion warrant has been arrested near Syracuse and returned to Fort Drum to face charges.AW

State police confirm that Specialist Scott Reynolds was arrested while taking a break from his job at Tessy Plastics in Elbridge last Thursday evening.

He was returned to Fort Drum to face the felony desertion warrant.

Fort Drum confirms that Reynolds was a member of the 1st Battalion, 87th Infantry Regiment, 1st Brigade Combat Team.

Officials declined further comment on his status or what will happen to him next.
