The list of weaponry 43 year old Lloyd Woodson allegedly had was impressive.

He was arrested Monday in New Jersey on several weapons charges.

The Somerset County prosecutor says Woodson was wearing a bulletproof vest and carried a semi-automatic weapon similar to the military's M16, except the rifle had been modified to handle much larger ammunition capable of disabling vehicles or shooting through concrete walls.

And that's not all.

Prosecutors say in his motel room, Woodson had a second assault rifle with a concealed serial number, a weapon that could be a grenade launcher, a night vision scope, a police scanner, a map of Fort Drum and plenty of spare ammunition.

"Obviously we knew he had a map of Fort Drum as well as another map of a civilian community. Whether either of those maps had any significance or relevance to any potential plan, we don't know at this point and that's something that we're trying to determine," said Somerset County Prosecutor Wayne Forrest by telephone.

Fort Drum officials say they were immediately notified.

The post's Garrison Commander Colonel Ken Riddle released a statement saying, "I am confident based on various visible and many more not-so-visible security measures we are doing our best to maintain the necessary level of vigilance. There is no threat to Fort Drum as a result of this incident."

The FBI and New Jersey authorities say Woodson has no links to terrorist groups or plots.

"We are clearly looking at that possibility, but at this point there's no evidence that would support that, but we're clearly looking at that potential," said Forrest.

Woodson remains behind bars and the case is headed to a grand jury.

Why Woodson would have all of this firepower and what his plans were for it is still a mystery.
