AT&T Helps You Thank A Soldier OverseasAT&T is giving people a chance to send a special Veterans Day message to a soldier overseas. You can stop into AT&T on Arsenal Street in Watertown and record a message that will be sent to a soldier who's away from home. Employees say people are nervous at first, but it's a worthwhile experience. "They loosen up through having conversations and laughing and joking with them and just allowing them to be as comfortable as possible, so they can send out a heartfelt message," said AT&T spokesman David Andrews. "I said thank you to the members of the military for their service and thank you to their families for their sacrifices, and Godspeed," said Derrick Wise, a veteran and an AT&T employee. AT&T is offering the service through Saturday. Most Popular |
