They're calling it a chance to bond with America's veterans.
Disabled American Veterans is looking for volunteers to drive veterans to medical appointments around Jefferson County and Syracuse.
They've had an increase in workload recently, because they're now serving Lewis County. Until recently, the DAV had 12 drivers, but now, that's not enough.
"That worked well, but then they gave me a third van this last year, so we're picking up more in Lewis County," Fran Murray said.
"I'd like to be able to service Lewis County more effectively than what we're doing right now."
If you're interested in helping out, call Murray at 315-782-5473 or send him an e-mail at email@example.com.
