Fort Drum Plans 9/11 Ceremony

Fort Drum and the Army's 10th Mountain Division are marking the 12th anniversary of the September 11 terrorist attacks with a ceremony.

Soldiers, civilians and community members will gather Wednesday to honor those who lost their lives that day and acknowledge those who continue to support the global war on terrorism.
Bells will ring marking each impact time: for the twin towers of the World Trade Center in New York City, the Pentagon, and the crash site in rural Pennsylvania.
A wreath also will be laid at the on-post memorial at Clark Hall.
