Fort Drum Welcomes Home 10th Sustainment BrigadeThere was a special homecoming ceremony Wednesday for soldiers returning from a year-long tour in Afghanistan. Serenaded by the national anthem, members of the 10th Sustainment Brigade were honored at Fort Drum for a job well done. The brigade, known as the Muleskinners, is one of the most deployed units, one with over a 1,000 soldiers still serving in Afghanistan. "We deploy, redeploy, train, reshape and redeploy those forces as the war fighter needs those capabilities," said Col. Kurt Ryan, the brigade's commander. "You focus on the next mission and get ready and prepare ourselves for the next mission," said Spec. Michell Williams. Most Popular |
