Urgent Care Clinic Opens Near Fort DrumA new urgent care clinic in the town of LeRay celebrated its grand opening over the weekend. It's a part of Samaritan Medical Center's plan to improve access to health care services across the north country. Officials say the new facility is available to anyone who needs medical attention. "Anybody, whether they're an established patient with us or not, it doesn't matter," said Dr. Benjamin Rudd. "They can come in and their hours are certainly extended, so they're open from about 9 to 9," Rudd said. "For any emergencies, they still need to go to the hospital, but minor, urgent medical problems can some here," said physician assistant Caleb Richter.
