A key building for Jefferson Community College is in jeopardy.
It's called the Collaborative Learning Center and it's part of a $14 million project that JCC thought New York state said yes to.
However, there was an oversight.
"The technical budget bill had not been passed and our projects were not part of the state budget," said JCC president Dr. Carole McCoy.
Seven other community colleges aren't getting the money they were anticipating.
"It's an error; it will get fixed. I just don't know exactly when it'll get fixed," said McCoy.
Assemblywoman Addie Russell says this sort of thing isn't uncommon
