2 Arrested In Adams Break-In

Two town of Lorraine residents were arrested in connection with a break-in Saturday in the village of Adams.

Jefferson County sheriff's deputies say 24 year old Zachary Stevens allegedly broke into the Liberty Street home while 20 year old Amanda Lasell waited for him in the car.
 
Deputies say they caught Stevens inside the home. They say he struggled with officers while they tried to put handcuffs on him.
 
He was charged with second degree burglary and resisting arrest.
 
Lasell, deputies say, came inside while they were arresting Stevens and was also arrested.
 
She was charged with second degree burglary.
 
They were arraigned in Ellisburg town court and sent to jail on $10,000 bail each.
