It might be the first time in St. Lawrence County history that law enforcement officials dealt with two alleged meth labs in one day.

Ogdensburg city police, along with state police and the county drug task force responded to 512 Hasbrouck Street in Ogdensburg Thursday night for a report of a methamphetamine lab operation.

Police Chief Richard Polniak tells 7  News two residents of the duplex - Sarah Lajoy House and Victor Green - are expected to face charges. 

That investigation is continuing.

In a separate case Thursday afternoon, sheriff's deputies responded to a reported domestic incident in the Jamison Trailer Park in the town of Canton and found what was described as "an active meth lab."

One person, identified as 33 year old Jason Myers of Canton, was charged with third degree unlawful manufacture of methamphetamine.

Police allegedly found lab equipment and several ingredients used to manufacture the drug.

Myers was arraigned in Canton town court and taken to jail on $5,000 bail.
