The Jefferson County Sheriff's Department is investigating a late morning accident just outside the Watertown city limits.

Two vehicles collided on a sharp curve on Ridge Road in the town of Watertown.

Officials said 18 year old Julie Peterson of Carthage was going too fast, lost control and hit another car head-on.

The other car was driven by 51 year old Harold Abram Jr. of Black River.

Abram, Peterson and her two passengers, 18 year olds Jasmine Clark and Barbara Simek (no addresses available), were all taken to the hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
