Three Watertown-area men are accused of breaking into a town of Pamelia motel and taking scrap metal and wire.

Jefferson County sheriff's deputies say witnesses saw the men enter the Hotis Motel on Route 37 Thursday afternoon and come out carry pipe, copper wire and a refrigerator.

The witnesses called police, who arrived when the suspects were still on the scene.

Arrested were 22 year old Brian Piarulli and 21 year old Terry Granger III, both of Watertown, and 28 year old Jonathan Mills of the town of Pamelia.

Each was charged with third degree burglar, criminal mischief and petit larceny.

Mills was charged with introducing contraband into prison and unlawful possession of marijuana. Deputies say he had pot hidden in his pant leg when he was being processed at the jail.

He was also charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle after he allegedly drove to the crime scene with a suspended license.

All three were arraigned in Watertown city court and sent to jail on $5,000 bail each.
