A tip led police to arrest three St. Lawrence County men who are accused of possessing ingredients for making meth.

State police say 26 year old Jordan Gleeson and 40 year old David Woodward of Heuvelton and 37 year old Terry Pitts Lisbon were each charged with felony possession of precursors of meth production.

Gleeson was also charged with possession of a hypodermic instrument and seventh degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.

Woodward was also charged with possession of a controlled substance.

State police Investigator Steven Bos says one of the suspects was under police surveillance when he went to Ogdensburg pharmacies to allegedly purchase over-the-counter Sudafed cold medicine and other ingredients that are used to make meth.

A traffic stop on County Route 28 in Lisbon led to the arrests.
All three subjects were released to appear in Lisbon town court in March.
