The Metro-Jeff Drug Task Force searched Apartment 2 at 135 North Rutland Street Tuesday morning.

Officials said they found 106 bags of heroin, 3 grams of unpacked heroin, $1,500 in cash, drug paraphernalia and heroin packaging materials.

Officials said the heroin is valued at approximately $3,000.

The force arrested 32 year old Mia Lamarche of 135 North Rutland Street, 29 year old Pierre Buggs of Brooklyn and Stephen Gilligan of Watertown.

Lamarche and Buggs were charged with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, while Gilligan was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.

Gilligan was released with a ticket to appear in court.

Lamarche was ordered held in the Jefferson County Jail in lieu of $20,000 cash bail or $40,000 bond.

The arrests were the result of a several week investigation.
