Three men believed to be part of an out-of town drug trafficking ring were arrested in Ogdensburg Wednesday.
Ogdensburg police say they and the St. Lawrence County Drug Task Force raided a Belmont Courts apartment, arrested three men, and found a quantity of drugs, cash and drug paraphernalia.
- Triston Glenn (also known as “T” and “Fresh Money”), 31, also of Queens. He was charged with third degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of marijuana.
- Reginald Barnes (also known as “Day Day”), 26, of Buffalo, N.Y. He was charged with third degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.
- Kaquane Bovain (also known as “KO” and “Sleezie”), 30, of Queens, N.Y. He was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana.
Police say they the search came on the heels of a narcotics investigation that stemmed from reports of drug traffic and crack cocaine sales at the apartment.
Police say they found 50 bags of crack cocaine with a street value of $5,000. They also found some cash, marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
None of the men live in the apartment they were arrested in, police say.
Police say they believe all three are members of a Buffalo-area drug trafficking ring that has been operating in the area.
Bovain was ticketed and released. He is scheduled to appear in Ogdensburg city court on Friday.
Glenn and Barnes were arraigned in city court and sent to St. Lawrence County jail on $10,000 bail each.
The investigation continues and police say they expect to make more arrests.
