A California man has been accused of creating child pornography with three girls in Jefferson County.

According to a criminal complaint filed in U.S. District Court in Syracuse, 40 year old Dennis Whitt of Marina, California used online video chat services to communicate with the three girls.

Posing as a 16 year-old named "Lucas," he allegedly coerced two girls, ages 16 and 15, into performing sex acts and into enlisting a 9 year old girl to participate.

Those handling the case here in New York say this is particularly heinous.

"This particular offense is especially serious because it involves the actual manufacture of child pornography. He would be facing a sentence that would include a 15 year minimum," said Executive Assistant U.S. Attorney John Duncan, Northern District of New York.

Feds seized computers from Whitt's house and they say they found nearly 50 videos in a folder labeled 'My Girls'.

According to the criminal complaint, Whitt admitted to watching the girls perform the sex acts on his computer.
